I've spent years working in Nashville healthcare — in hospitals, in homes, and in the spaces in between where families make the hardest decisions of their lives. I've sat with families in ICU waiting rooms at 2 a.m. I've watched adult children try to Google their way through a hospice referral while their parent was still in the hospital bed.
What I kept seeing was this: the information existed, but it wasn't organized in a way that was useful when you actually needed it. Search results were full of national aggregators and paid listings. The good local providers — the ones I'd personally recommend — were buried under SEO noise.

This site is the guide I wish existed. Every provider listed here has been personally reviewed. Every article reflects real clinical experience. Nothing is here because someone paid to be here.

How providers are selected
Every provider in The Last Mile directory has been reviewed based on clinical reputation, family feedback, regulatory compliance, and personal professional experience. Listings are updated regularly. If you have a concern about a listed provider, or want to recommend one, please reach out.
During our launch period, listings are free. We may introduce a modest listing fee in the future to support site operations, but we will never accept payment in exchange for editorial placement or positive coverage.
